Unorthodox Beliefs?

Welcome Friends and Visitors,

As of late I have been affirming my personal spiritual beliefs. This led me to wonder, “Since I’m sure my beliefs are a bit askew from mainstream religions, or maybe even a conglomeration of other beliefs, what other unorthodox beliefs do people have?” And so, I bring it here for you all, my guests to fill me in. Do you have spiritual beliefs that are more obscure or maybe even looked down upon? If so, let us all into your world for a moment and show us what it is like. Even if you don’t feel free to give your insight on such belief systems.

As for myself, I believe that, like animists, every living thing has a spirit that to a point is everlasting. However, I also believe that there are greater governing spirits looking over not only the living world but also the wandering spirits of those past. I also believe that we, as humans, have potential, whether it be physically, mentally, or spiritually, that has yet to truly be tapped. I hope to one day, may I be of this world or one of said wandering spirits, see this potential with my very own eyes.

So have at it folks, show me what you believe, and please, as always, be respectful.

Forever your humble Host,
Xaine E. Cross

What is Love

Welcome,

I apologize for my lack of activity. Due to my ever-growing wave of work at both home and school, I have been preoccupied. When all quiets and calms, I shall try to become much more punctual with my posts. As such, Let’s get on with the show.

As many of you may not know, I have recently gone through a rough breakup with my significant other of two years. As to be expected, I have been in a rather dark place, but thanks to some rather generous and kind acquaintances of mine, I have been slowly pulling myself back up. At the same time, my family is being forced to move out of our current home. Now, I am here on my spring break packing my room when I find something rather heart-wrenching. I have found a series of letters that my ex and I sent over the previous year while I was away at school. The tone and memories stirred up by these letters have made me begin reflecting on the true nature of  ‘Love’. As such, I issue a request for a discussion via the comment panel below this post: What is ‘Love’ to you?; Where does it begin, and where does it end, if it ends at all?; Is the classical idea of ‘romance’ and ‘Love’ being lost to the constantly changing times? Feel free to add what ever you wish to this discussion. Also, should wish to contribute while also remaining more anonymous, feel free to e-mail your thoughts to me at Xaine-E-Cross@hotmail.com.

Welcome to My World

Hello Visitors,

As your host, I would like to introduce myself as best I can. To you all, my name is Xaine Ethaniel Cross. This of course is not my true name. This is my pen name. I use this alias not only as a means to open myself to you all, but also because I really wish it WERE my name. Ahem, anyway, I am here to hopefully give you all a forum to relate to one another. I, like many my age, am the target of much of life’s constant stream of crap, and I know you all do as well. We are all subject to daily trials and tribulations. As such, this domain is meant to be a place where not only I can share my experiences with you, but also where I may share the experiences of my readers, if they so wish. As my domain grows, I hope you, my readers will send me some topics on which I may post. On another hand, this domain will be a source of a few *almost* daily quips that may develop over time. Thus, I hope I, your humble host, satisfy you to the end.

Forever your humble Host,

Xaine E. Cross
